Scandi Rye (Rugbrød)
A Nordic favourite, Rugbrød is a staple in all Danish households and the foundation for Smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches).
Rugbrød is super healthy - very low in fat, has no oils, no sugars and it is typically loaded with whole grain and fiber. Our version of Rugbrød is made with freshly milled rye flour, Wholegrain Milling Bakers flour, kibbled rye, malt, mollases and packed with seeds and grains.
A three day process, we bake our Scandi Rye on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
